Open days for cars
Drive your car at Hungaroring circuit!

Continuing the practice of the last years Hungaroring Sport Plc will again organise in cooperation with Racing System Ltd in 2009 the open days for street cars at Hungaroring race track. 

The goal of these events is providing the possibility of driving on Hungaroring race track under safe circumstances and getting the feeling of speed.

Hungaroring Sport Co Plc would like to contribute to reformation and betterment of road safety by organising these events as participants have the opportunity of trying their own skills within a safe environment.

Open days provide the utilisation of Hungaroring race track between 09.00 and 17.00 o’clock according to the program stipulated by the organiser. Participants may register from 08.30 o’clock. Groups and exact schedule of track use will be determined by the organiser according to the cars types of the participants and the final schedule will be released in garage 5 or by the public address system.

Conditions and terms for participating are a minimum one year valid driving licence, adequate driving experience as well as the fact that the registration book of the vehicle is issued to the name of the participant. Participants have to sign a statement regarding their adequacy and responsibility. In case the registration book of the car not be issued to the name of the participant, an authorisation on behalf of the car owner, countersigned by two witnesses is required.

Every participant may enter Hungaroring race track on his own responsibility. We suggest affecting an additional insurance.

Category classification: 

• 1. Category:    slow vehicles up to 150 HP (up to 110 kW)
• 2. Category:    fast vehicles over 150 HP (over 110 kW)

On every car day we provide the possibility to ride Hungaroring as a passenger with an experienced driver in one of our Opel Astra or BMW M3 E36 race cars. We will draw three lucky winners among the participants of the event who will experience the feeling of race speed on the circuit.
